I am deeply saddened by the loss of Manuel. I remember speaking with him and he was such a sweet and respectful young man. I was looking forward to working with him and motivating him in his quest to improve his academics. I had just called that day, Friday, and it was a horrible shock to me to hear what happened. I pray for peace and guidance for his family and loved ones. He will be missed at Western High School.
