Papa, you were the greatest man to walk this earth. You showed true expectations for anyone to be. You were such a beautiful soul. You could walk into a room and everyone was your friend at the end. I love you so much, I have such an empty heart without you. I love you so much. Rest in peace, you're the most beautiful angel.

What does it really mean when a man takes on an immediate responsibility to help raise young boys that were going through a tough time? What does it really mean when a man helps raise young girls that same way whether biological or not, in such a way that nobody would ever know the difference of who was which? He never divided his love; it was the same all the way around. A man that never took anything for himself and never put himself in front of any of his kids. A man that worked so hard to gather the resources that it must have taken to feed and clothe a large family. Look around, it all meant something. Those kids may not have the same exact stories of childhood as others, about extravagant trips across the country or expensive material things, but none of that is the measuring tool of a wonderful life. Those kids have some of the best memories and understand now that material things are not of any real value. It says a lot when his now adult kids could not even speak of their loss, aloud, without being taken over by emotion. It just shows how wealthy they really were all along and the riches that Dale left them with. The abundance of love he shared with Mom, us kids, the grand-kids, and great-grand kids is of the greatest value to us all; it overflows. Although sad for a moment in time, eventually we will all see more clearly the goodness in everything around us that Dale loved, and we can be at peace. Collectively, we all made a difference in Dale’s life, and what a difference he made in our lives. Someday we’ll meet up again and I will repeat those old repetitive stories that used to crack you up as if hearing them for the very first time and we’ll laugh together at all the new ones that I will gather until then. I love you. Love Jacques, Nicole, Serena, and Nolan

Dale's presence would always reassure that if you envisioned something, that it surely was possible. I would walk away feeling they were probable. I love you Dale and I am surely gonna miss the kindness and love you always displayed. So many memories. Godspeed Dale
