Dear John and family.......our condolences on the loss of Elaine. We have known Elaine back in our Wyandotte, Mt. Carmel school days. Her spirit and joy will be remembered. She always seemed so happy in light of her illness. She is a role model for the rest of us. May she find peace in the presence of the Lord. May you find peace in your many years of memories. Our love Pat and Carl

My husband and I frequently sat behind Elaine and John at mass. Loved hearing stories about their many travels/trips. There was never a shortage of topics to talk about. Our earthly loss is heaven’s big win. Our deepest condolences to the entire Chizik family.

Elaine was a special lady. She always had a positive attitude whenever I talked to her. She was so full of life. We had a lot of fun going to classes at Trenton Athletic Club. She will be truly missed. God bless you, John and your whole family. Judy Pavliga

Dave and I were shocked to get the phone call letting us know dear Elaine had passed. Elaine was a light in this world we live in for sure !! Always smiling in spite of her many trials. A very hard working woman who wouldn't stop. Always talking about the family she loved. Very Faithful ... always in Church. Many Friends. Our sincere prayers to you, John, and your Family. We will pray for strength for all of you. God Bless. Dave and Barbara Onofrio

Elaine and I met almost 50 years ago at Security Bank. It didn’t take long for us to become best friends. We traveled every fall for over 40 years Our first trip in October was to our little trailer on the Manistee River for primitive camping. It wasn’t long till we discovered Gatlinburg. We hiked and power shopped for a week. There is not one room in my house that doesn’t have some reminder of Elaine because of treasures from Gatlinburg or Plymouth and Northville. She was my confident and I was hers. We laughed , cried and shared. I will miss you my friend but I am at peace. I know you are no longer in pain and are stress free. I even tried to call you Saturday to talk and see how you were doing. I even saw a call come in from you although it didn’t connect. Till we meet again my friend.💕💕💕
