    Ellen Carol (Stocks) Irvin passed away peacefully at home in Romulus, MI. on May 31, 2020. She was born on November 28, 1934 in Detroit, MI to Golda (Phillips) and Charles Stocks.

    She and her husband Charles loved to travel, went to all 50 states and 13 countries, going to casinos and being with friends and family.

    Ellen was a graduate of the class of 1953, Belleville High School, in Belleville, MI. She was a longtime resident of Romulus, MI. since 1955.

    Among her accomplishments are Passe la President and La Correspondante La Societe Le, Femme for 40 and 8 Voiture 957 and American Legion Auxiliary #282 Ypsilanti, MI., Life member of VFW Auxiliary Ypsi., La Femme Founders Club, National Association of Boxcar Hobos.

    Preceded in death by her parents Golda and Charles Stocks and sister Mary Hardy. Ellen is survived by her husband Charles of 49 years, two daughters Myra and Suzanne and her husband Steve, granddaughters Jessica and Brittany, grandsons Kyle, Cory and Jacari, great grandsons Logan and Landon, sister in law Dolores, brother in law Ron Nedeau and nephews Bill, Ron, Steve, Mike Dan and Joe Schroeck and niece Terri.

    She loved her friends and family and we be greatly missed.

    Private family viewing will take place on June 3, 2020, followed by cremation.
